So you want to become a games developer?
I'm not going to lie, it's tough. Yes, it's going to mean several hundred (thousand?) hours sat in front of a computer, slaving over lines and lines of code. Of course the end result is awesome, you can make your own games. Eventually you will be able to think your way around all sorts of problems that others can't, you will not only gain the benefits of being awesome at programming you will also become a logical thinker, your problem solving skills will improve and you will have the tools at your disposal to create some really awesome stuff. Not only that, it improves maths skills, you can read about why this is awesome in my other blogs, financials and poker.
